Carl von Ossietzky (1889-1938) is chief editor of Weltb\u00FChne, and one of the most influential, critical reporters of the erosion of the Weimar constitution.

Many well-known people, including Thomas Mann and Albert Einstein, stand up for him.

He is sentenced to 18 months prison. After an amnesty is granted, he is released after half a year in Decemebr 1932.
