In 1926, he expands de Broglie\u2019s idea of matter waves as an explanation of the Bohr atom model. To do this, he introduces a wave equation for electrons - the famous Schr\u00F6dinger Equation. Soon after, Schr\u00F6dinger finds the proof that his formalism is, for the most part, equivalent to that of Heisenberg.
