Text__yDJOkKOcEd-WfYQ0GneCwQ_text=On 7 May 1909, Einstein is elected to the post of Extraordinary Professor of  Theoretical Physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and moves  from Bern to Zurich. He applies to the education authority for a grant for the removal  costs amounting to 225 Swiss Francs. The application is granted, and Einstein is  reimbursed in full.
