Welcome to the online toolbox

This is a collection of tools for converting and generating text files, that can then be displayed in the
ECHO display system. The generated files are valid XML documents.

The texts can come from different sources: It can be a transcript of digitized images that was created following
the Data Entry Specifications or it can be images which are processed by OCR. Additionally, an empty XML template
can be generated which provides a good starting point for transcribing a manuscript.
