== Installation of ArcGIS on a Mac ==

-  Install Virtual-Box (VB)
-  Create a virtual disk within VB of at least 20 GB!
-  Create a host on VB, install here Windows (I did XP)
-  Import all Updates, Servicepacks etc.
-  Install .Net-Framework 3.5 SP1 incl. Updates (.Net-Framework 4 does not work with ArcGIS 10!) 
-  Mount the ArcGISDesktop...iso to the host (1. under "Massenspeicher" include the CD/DVD-ROM, 2. select the appropriate *.iso)
-  Install ArcGIS as required
-  Install the ArcGIS-License Manager
