This section is intended to be (/become) a collection of possible scenarios how users of the ChinaGIS website might want to utilize its functionality.

Scenario 1

Situation: A technically unexperienced user has collected mappable data, but (naturally) with place names instead of coordinates/GIS-IDs.
Goal: Map the data without using an instruction manual first.
Solution: An option for guided workflows should be provided, easy to find for new users. These tutorial workflows should not be separate tools but utilize the standard tools of the website, only with more detailed descriptions and hints what to do next. (Maybe this should be included by default, als long as the tooltips etc. are not too annoying/distracting for the experienced user)
