I tried using the "Save as new Entity" in the Title and Witness forms (to save some typing), but found that the original entry and the new one remained linked through the references. For example, when I updated a reference in one of the entries, it would take away the witnesses from the other. Or it would change the reference "Additional Information" in the original if I make a change in the derivative entry. Anyway, my suggestion is to remove the option "Save as new Entity". It probably works unless you add references, whereupon there are the problems noted. But I don't think anyone (other than me) has been using it. |

When eliminating duplicates in the bibliography the REFERENCE objects in OpenMind? need to be changed. The reference_id in all affected objects has to be changed to contain only the correct id. We need a frontend to show and change all affected objects. |
