How to deal with figures in Euclid (1966):

Mark figures by <fig>. Mark captions by <cap> </cap> and descriptions by <desc> </desc>. Mark variables by <var> </var>.

A figure can consist of one or more images. If the characters for the variables in an image start again with 甲, use a new <fig> tag. If, on the other hand, new variables are used, use the same <fig> tag but a new <var> tag.

If there are no variables, mark every image as a separate figure, unless a caption explicitly says otherwise.

Try to type the variables in a sensible order. Use commas if there are not only variables, but also numbers.



Regarding the six images on page 0027:

(However, as we said before, tagging it as six figures or as one figure with three descriptions is also acceptable.)
