47 in odontocete cetaceans. The research will occur over a five year

|
48 period. The requested permit has been issued under the authority of

49 the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972, as amended (16 U.S.C. 1361

50 et seq .) and the Regulations Governing the Taking and Importing of
