Maps

Maps can be created from Tables and Views that contain at least one valid set of coordinate-columns.

Users can define titles and descriptions for each Map.

Every Map consists of one or more Layers.

Every Layer refers to one single Table or View and defines, how the data translates into a Map.

Tables, Views and Maps can be added to a Map.

Adding Map A to Map B results in copying all the Layers of Map A to the list of layers of Map B.

Maps, like any other object (Tables, Views), can be fixed so that changes to the underlying data do not affect the Map, but the Map itself cannot be changed either.
