Build an initial web application based on grails. Integrate the open mind core with the web application as a grails service to get access to the open mind repository. Enable a build and deployment process for regular and automated deployments every night. Can run on a S&S Media Server or on a server on MPI. All we need is an installed java/maven/ant and a cron job. With that we can be sure to have a running version every day. So we can react to problems on the production system very fast. Any time spent here will save time later because of automated processes and stabilize the maintenance of the system later. Target of the task is not to build a perfect and for all purposes ready built system but only a reliable one. Integrated in that task should be building openmind as a module and building the grails application. |
