#31 fixed Secure Transaction jurzua jurzua
Description

There is a Class (Method) in OpenMind?, which controls the transmission of Data between the web-application and the datastore. As has already been described, when appears a exception in time of a transmission, the datastore could be damaged (very likely). This Problem will not appears again, because before each transmission, the datastore is copied (backup), and if there is a exception, the transaction is aborted and the datastore retrieves the copy.

#30 fixed Change of the openmind data structure to reflect the changes mentioned by Jamil Robert Munsky
Description

Jamil has send requirements for the data enter forms. These requirements require changes in the openmind data structure (definitions) and in the importer module.

See Email from Jamil from 23. August 2008 and attached Document and this notes from the email from the 26th of August: --- Dear Robert,

Just a few brief comments regarding #3:

a) CODEX is not in the Access database. It is a new "definition". A codex is analogous to a physical book and contains one or more individual texts. It is defined by 5 attributes: COUNTRY, CITY, REPOSITORY, COLLECTION, SHELFMARK

b) WITNESS is the definition we are using for what was formerly called a manuscript. Because there is an ambiguity between the terms manuscript, codex and text, we have decided to use witness, which is well attested in codicology. A witness is defined by the 5 attributes of a codex plus CODEX PART, in other words by COUNTRY, CITY, REPOSITORY, COLLECTION, SHELFMARK and CODEX PART.

I hope this clarifies the situation a bit.

Best, Jamil ---
