Q: Please see the attached image file "592.JPG" (479,604 bytes). It is from the book Aristoteles_et_altera_1547. Please see the character in red circle. The accent above the letter "e" sometimes likes breve, and sometimes likes umlaut/diaeresis. Can you please help us to identify this character?
A: Always type it as ë, for example aër.
