    28 === Recommendation ===
     24Relevant part of the letter to Formax from 2009-08-26:
     25
     262. heeschen_1990.doc:
     27
     28  a. In the Special Instructions to that document we asked you to write ß as such (U+00DF)
     29  a. The quotation marks look weird, please use the according Unicode characters (U+00AB and U+00BB)
     30  a. Also, the tags of the footnote anchors are wrong. Maybe you forgot to apply a script?
     31
     32=== Q ===
     33
     34We have a question for footnote coding in heeschen_1990.doc:
     35
     36According to the feedback, that we knew " Also, the tags of the footnote anchors are wrong.", and in our opinion, we should code the data under the heading "Anmerkungen" like image 0151.jpg as footnote text, is it right? If yes, please see page 0152.jpg, footnote 11, there is Eipo text (normal size) with translation (small text) under it which we can use <p sm> to coding them in normal paragraph, but as you know, <p> can not appear in footnote, how to code them? Also more than one paragraph in this footnote, how to code the second paragraph?
     37
     38If Not, which kind of text we should code as footnote text in this book?
     39
     40=== A ===
     41
     421. Our comment "Also, the tags of the footnote anchors are wrong. Maybe you forgot to apply a script?" refers to the <&&&&&&> around footnote anchors in the main text. Two examples:
     43
     440150.jpg, footnote 7:
     45{{{
     46nerhaus bauen werden, haut ihr von da drüben ab!&<;<&&&&&&>7)</&&&&&&> Für
     47}}}
     48should be:
     49{{{
     50nerhaus bauen werden, haut ihr von da drüben ab!«<n 7)> Für
     51}}}
     52
     530151.jpg, footnote 11:
     54{{{
     55anfangend, kamen sie.<&&&&&&>11)</&&&&&&> Der Tanzzug umgab / umkreiste
     56}}}
     57should be:
     58{{{
     59anfangend, kamen sie.<n 11)> Der Tanzzug umgab / umkreiste
     60}}}
     61
     62
     632. Yes, "Anmerkungen" is always followed by footnotes. We now see that you had marked them as normal paragraphs. Please mark them as footnotes. See the examples below.
     64
     65
     663. You are completely right with Eipo text in footnotes and with more than one paragraph in a footnote. Once again, we thank you for your thoughtful questions.
     67
     68Contrary to rule in the DESpecs version 2.0, please use <p> and <p sm> within footnotes. (For the time being, this rule applies to Heeschen 1990 only.)
     69
     70Example 1 (0151.jpg, footnote 7; a footnote with only one paragraph):
     71
     72{{{
     73<p>7 Dingerkon liegt auf einem Grat, der quer ins Haupttal
     74</col>
     75
     76<pb 150>
     77<col 1>
     78hineinragt ... liegt.</p>
     79}}}
     80
     81should be:
     82
     83{{{
     84<fn 7><p>Dingerkon liegt auf einem Grat, der quer ins Haupttal
     85</col>
     86
     87<pb 150>
     88<col 1>
     89hineinragt ... liegt.<p></fn>
     90}}}
     91
     92Example 2 (0152.jpg, footnote 11)
     93(note: in this example, the incorrect quotation marks &>;obnyab!&<; have been corrected to »obnyab!«, and {$s} has been corrected to ß)
     94
     95{{{
