  • The name of the div containing the one manuscript bundle is "bundle"
  • No further divs used

Tags and keys used

TRANSLATIONS

  • always semantic-unit-wise, i.e. put into <s></s>, <h></h>
  • always put within <t> </t>

COMMENTARY

  • semantic-unit-wise
    • put <sc> </sc> within <s> </s> or <h> </h>; put it right after the <s> or <h>, respectively!
  • paragraph-wise
    • put <pc> </pc> within <p> </p> but outside of all <s> </s>; put it right after the <p>!
  • page-wise
    • put <c> </c> after <pb/>
  • If a commentary relates to a part on the folio where there is nothing to be transcribed, insert an editorial insertion <emph style="edins"></emph> and attach the commentary to it.

  • <reg norm="tempus" type="abbr">temp.</reg> for regularisations (here temp. = abbreviation fortempus) use only abbr (for abbreviations) and typo (for misspellings)
  • No lb/ needed at end of paragraph
  • space before lb/ needed within a semantic unit (so that the space is seen when linebreaks are not displayed)
  • space before end of semantic unit should actually always be entered, because it is most often needed.

Transcription

  • Numbers in the text are transcribed with commata.
  • y for th is transcribed as th
  • Proportions are transcribed as a , b : c , d
  • Arrangement entangling many proportions may be transcribed as several proportions
  • Calculations (+ - * /) are transcribed in $ $ environment
  • ye for the etc.
  • For Latin: tildes, crosses, are expanded, ae is written as a ligature
