Situation

Images of a digitized book in ECHO are to be replaced by new ones (because the new images are of better quality or digitized by the MPIWG library). The XML-fulltext that had been created with the MPDL project's ​XML workflow (german) has to be aligned to the new images.

In these XML-texts, the explicit file name of each image file is given in an attribute of <pb>. As it is the MPDL project's philosophy to make as many changes as possible in the raw (i.e. non-XML) text before starting the XML workflow on it, the page numbers must be changed in the raw text. Then the workflow scripts have to be re-run on the new version of the raw text.
